1. Tomato Powder Pasta Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons tomato powder
- 1 cup water or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in tomato powder, water (or broth), oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened. Serve over cooked pasta and garnish with fresh basil.
2. Tomato Powder Soup
Ingredients:
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 3 tablespoons tomato powder
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 celery stalk, diced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
- In a pot, heat olive oil and sauté carrot and celery until soft.
- Add vegetable broth, tomato powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Blend until smooth if desired. Serve hot.
3. Tomato Powder Seasoned Popcorn
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
- 2 tablespoons tomato powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add popcorn kernels and cover.
- Once popping slows, remove from heat.
- In a small bowl, mix tomato powder, garlic powder, and salt.
- Drizzle popcorn with melted butter or oil and sprinkle the seasoning on top. Toss to combine.
4. Tomato Powder Hummus
Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons tomato powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, tomato powder, lemon juice, garlic, and salt.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Serve with pita bread or veggies.
5. Tomato Powder Rice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice (white or brown)
- 2 tablespoons tomato powder
- 2 cups vegetable broth or water
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- In a pot, combine rice, tomato powder, broth (or water), cumin, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer until rice is cooked (about 15-20 minutes for white rice, longer for brown).
- Fluff with a fork and garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
